Plott Hound Engineering is a premier civil engineering firm that works with partners to optimize design, development and profit with exceptional quality. Founded by Bryan Linton, a UNC Charlotte alum, who realized the value his own firm could bring to regional projects.
Bryan began his engineering career by working with the Town of Indian Trail where he gained experience within the public municipality sector. After his internship, he moved to master his technical skills by managing the development of residential and commercial construction projects and analyzing municipal storm water improvement projects. His comprehensive range of experience continued as he worked within the steel manufacturing industry campaigning cost-saving energy reduction projects, designing industrial water treatment plants, and acquiring permits for major construction projects.
Returning to his roots in North Carolina, Bryan moved to managing major commercial development projects and became known for his quality work and support within remarkable client relationships.

Justin Jones joined our team in 2021 as an Autocad drafter and designer. Growing up in Charlotte, he joins our team with the valuable perspective of watching the greater Charlotte region grow and develop from rural suburbs to the cultural melting pot of development that has stretched into the surrounding counties. When he is not designing in the office, Justin enjoys playing golf and spending time hiking and exploring outdoors.
Haley Linton co-founded Plott Hound Engineering and has played a critical role in its accounting, administration and partnership management. She runs much of the back office work that goes into our firm and has a background in marketing and relationship management. She holds two degrees from University of North Carolina Wilmington and considers herself a perpetual student gaining skills and knowledge through experience within the development realm.
